Maria took on the role of Colombian general manager in July 2013 after heading Corporate Communications and Institutional Relations at Banco Santander for two years. She has extensive experience in the fields of crisis communication and public affairs, including experience at various communication firms and private enterprises such as Dattis Consultores en Comunicacion. There, she was an account manager and partner consultant working with such clients as Ecopetrol, Telefonica, and BBVA, among others.
